Loma Vista Vineyards
2012 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
California: Napa Valley
Up the hill...
Loma Vista Vineyards has continually astounded us with their exceptional high-elevation Napa Cabs. Today we are thrilled to bring to you their very limited production 2012 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc.
Master Sommelier Catherine Fallis loved today’s wine as well, calling it a “… bright, zesty and concentrated Sauvignon Blanc… that has a soft bite at the finish.” We couldn’t agree more. Today’s wine also features a clear grassy note, which reminded our Agent Red of the some of the best Sauv Blancs from New Zealand.
Please enjoy our boldest recommendation for today’s extraordinary under $20 delight. Cheers!
A super pale straw yellow through and through.
Well balanced aromatic notes of just ripened white peach, Anjou pear, Meyer lemon, lime leaf, sweet grass, and just a touch of asparagus.
Soft and subtly complex on the palate, with fresh white fruits paired with hints of white tea, flower petal, rosemary, vanilla bean, and white peppercorn.
A delightful white wine that features refreshingly crisp flavors and a bright acidity.
Grilled asparagus, served with walnuts, feta, and mandarin oranges.
