David Girard Vineyards
2011 El Dorado Syrah
California: El Dorado County
Wonder of nature
Simply put, we love today’s David Girard Vineyards 2011 El Dorado Syrah.
Today’s wine has rich flavors that beautifully cascade across the palate, delivering excitement to all corners of the palate. These rich flavors are paired with a very soft and elegant mouthfeel, creating one complete Syrah.
For 50% off, today’s wine is an absolute steal. We highly suggest stocking up to ensure you have enough of this bold, red stunner to last through the winter to come!
Dark sanguine red, but not as inky as some Syrahs. A lovely ruby glint shines through the center of the glass.
Very well balanced aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry shine through immediately on today’s wine. These notes are joined by hints of tobacco leaf, mushroomy earth, cherry wood, and dark baking spices.
Ripe, lush flavors shine through on this gem, with juicy dark berry and black cherry mingling with cherry cola, sweet tobacco leaf, black peppercorn, and espresso bean.
A very soft, welcoming wine, with subtle tannin structure and pleasant acidity. Eminently approachable and absolutely sippable.
Grilled ribeye, dry rubbed with black peppercorn, and finished with caramelized onions and blue cheese.
