Tasting Profile
Look: | Inky darkest garnet, with glinting ruby edges. |
---|---|
Smell: | Candied blackberry, black cherry and cassis infused with baking spice, chocolate, wild mushroom, tobacco leaf and a hint of black pepper. |
Taste: | Deeeeeelicious, with dark plum, blackberry, black cherry and cherry cordial that are blended with sweet spices, sweet tobacco, cigar box and toasty oak. |
Finish: | Gradually grippy with flavors giving way to integrated tannins. At the tail end, the lips pucker and the mouth waters. |
Pairing: | This bold, elegant and grippy wine wants to play with grilled meats. |
