Mission Briefing
Nenow or later
Today’s Robert Nenow Winery 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a fantastic hidden gem that drinks well above its price class. In fact, at just $25.99, we’re recommending that you buy as much as you can. This impressive wine will have your friends thinking that you’re a high roller that spends $75 on a bottle of Cab.
Today’s Nenow Cab is a true hidden gem of a wine that was made from fruit sourced at the Kenefik Ranch in the Calistoga AVA of the Napa Valley. This vineyard site is the picturesque home to 125 acres of ultra premium grapes. Grown here are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc.
Kenefik sells their in-demand grapes to some of the finest wine producers in California, including Etude, Lewis Cellars, Cade-Plumpjack, Merryvale, Raymond and world-famous Caymus. These wineries know great grapes when they find them. How Robert Nenow got their hands on the same fruit remains a mystery, but we won’t question this good thing more closely. We’ll just enjoy a few succulent bottles with good friends.
