Is our intrepid Agent Red too careful in his wine selection process? If you consider that we haven’t featured a Rosé in recent memory, you might think he’s being way too careful.
Well, we have great news for you, today… Agent Red has found a glorious Rosé for you. And from an unexpected source, too. This wine was made by the team at Vice Versa winery. They make luxury cabs that fetch extraordinarily high prices. No need to pay $100 for one of their wines, today, though. We’ve got their Apriori Cellars 2014 Rosé for under $20.
This wine is bright, balanced and incredibly delicious. It is the sort of wine that one can’t help but gulp - while sporting a huge grin!
Pretty pink, with color like a watermelon Jolly Rancher candy.
Pink grapefruit, dried pink rose petal, orange peel and dried cranberry.
Bright and fresh, with pink grapefruit, Meyer lemon, lime, dried flower petals and a hint of flint.
Super long for a Rosé. Juicy and bright and mouthwatering, with just a hint of grippy dryness at the very end.
This wine would be amazing with a baked cheese and tomato sandwich on a crusty rustic bread. Use a blend of parmigiano-reggiano, fontina and provolone for optimal deliciousness. Meat eaters should add prosciutto or ham.
