Today’s Viszlay Vineyards 2013 Russian River Valley Estate Pinot Noir is a delicious, refined and elegant Pinot Noir that showcases the terroir of the Russian River Valley.
This wine is young and it has years of life left in it. For best results, either decant or simply swirl as you witness how it unfolds in the glass, revealing ever more fruit and intriguing earth and spice elements.
Proprietor and winemaker John Viszlay planted his vineyards back in 1997 and for the last 18 years has guided and been directly involved in every aspect of vineyard and winery operations, from grape growing to winemaking. His experience with his Estate vineyard shines through in today’s delicious, elegant Pinot Noir.
Perfect ruby red hues, through and through.
Fragrant and lush with warm aromas of cherry pie, sweet baking spice, Bing cherry, forest floor, dried mushroom and cedar.
Juicy dark cherry juice, smoky black cherry, blackberry, dried cranberry, young alpine strawberry, subtle cedar, wet earth, cherry cordial and berry bramble.
Bright and fresh with red fruit that gradually fades to super subtle earth and cedar.
Enjoy this wonderful wine with everything from a grilled pork loin to a herb roasted chicken.
