Today’s Chardonnay is a wonderfully creamy, elegant and delicious wine. Very fragrant, with ripe yellow peach, nectarine, orange rind, caramelized sugar, Asian pear, dried yellow rose petals, slate and a hint of sweet oak. On the palate you are greeted with expansive flavors of Yellow peach, nectarine, mixed citrus, honeysuckle, toasty vanilla, oak, slate minerals and a hint of white pepper at the end.

Tasting Profile

Look:

Stunning amber color, from the core of the wine to its glinting golden edge.

Smell:

Ripe yellow peach, nectarine, orange rind, caramelized sugar, Asian pear, dried yellow rose petals, slate and a hint of sweet oak.

Taste:

Yellow peach, nectarine, mixed citrus, honeysuckle, toasty vanilla, oak, slate minerals and a hint of white pepper at the end.

Finish:

Exceptionally long and loaded with fruit that gradually fades to vanilla, caramelized sugar and soft oak.

Pairing:

Enjoy this rich wine with more complex pairings, like a Caribbean chicken dish or a seafood and chorizo paella.
