Today’s Biagi Family Wines 2008 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon isn’t just a steal, it is a delicious, elegant wine that will be the talk of your next dinner party. How often do you show up with a $100 bottle to share?!

This wine is very lush and very full on the nose, with bold Stewed blackberry, plum and blueberry out in front. Then, as the wine opens up, it unpacks cocoa, cedar, fresh fennel, black pepper, cigar box and toasty oak.

On the palate the wine is elegant and delicious, with warm flavors of plum & black cherry compote, black raspberry, blueberry juice, cocoa powder, baker’s chocolate, cedar, subtle sweet spice and a hint of black pepper.

Drink now through 2018. Maybe longer! There is plenty of fruit left in this lovely, food-fabulous wine.
