We’ve been showcasing wines from Grgich Hills Estate since 2007. In fact, we’ve featured them more times than most other wineries that we closely follow. We return to them again and again because their wines are that great.

And, speaking of great, we have what is the very best white wine we’ve ever tasted from this winery, the absolutely stupendous Grgich Hills Estate 2013 Estate grown Napa Valley Fumé Blanc .

This 92 point wine (Wine & Spirits Magazine) was the unanimous hit of our recent tasting panel, with each panel member oohing and ahhing over it. The entire panel agreed that this wine shows beautiful balance, deliciously distinctive flavors, and aromas that encourage deep inhalations. To top it off, this wine is one of the most flexible and food friendly whites that we’ve tasted around here in quite a while.
