It is the spirit of this unique Terrior driven varietal that inspires today’s selection. Syrah, a native to the Rhone Valley, also finds an excellent home in California’s wine growing regions. On tasting today’s exceptional wine, we are sure you’ll agree.
Today’s exceptional Syrah is truly a wine of great distinction. Rich and bold, well structured with generous aromas and flavors, a wine that stands on its own and will also compliment the boldest of kitchen creations. Epiphany’s winemaker Blair Fox blows us away with today’s delicious selection.
On the nose, a heady rush of smoked meat, stewed plum, blackberry and black cherry fruit jumps from the glass. These are closely joined by dark spice, toasted cedar and blueberry preserve. Every single aroma from the nose is perfectly mirrored on the palate. Add to these delightful black licorice, fresh plum, toasted hazelnut and dark chocolate powder.
