Look:

Pretty, pale, golden yellow with perfect clarity through and through. On swirling the wine, it shows a tight and springy surface that settles quickly, leaving behind chubby legs that meander slowly down the glass wall.

Smell:

Orange blossoms, honeysuckle, acacia, pear, white peach, apricot, slate, darkly toasted oak, white tea and a hint of English toffee.

Taste:

Pineapple, yellow peach, nectarine, creamed honey, Meyer lemon, dried hay, and lychee, with hints of almond and subtle white pepper.

Finish:

Very long and velvet smooth with stone fruit and citrus that fade as tropical notes and white pepper persist.

Pairing:

Enjoy this very versatile wine with a broad array of pairing choices, including fruit and cheese, roast duck, BBQ chicken - or nearly anything else.
