The Crimson Angel
Today’s Daou Vineyards 2012 Unbound Red Wine is a wonderful delight from the hands of skilled winemaker Daniel Daou. This 91 point marvel is the best Paso Robles wine we’ve ever featured.
There is power and elegance in this dark, concentrated, very flavorful wine. Grab some while you can!
Daniel’s appreciation for quality wine was nurtured throughout childhood, so he understands the power of place. He brings this understanding to bear with his own label. His vineyard produces extraordinary fruit for his equally extraordinary wines.
Rich and lush with aromas of blackberry preserves, blueberry, black cherry, plum, sweet tobacco, cedar, baker’s chocolate, twigs and mixed spice.
Full and packed with flavors of blackberry preserves, stewed plum, anise, river rock, black cherry, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, dried leaves, spice box and a hint of cracked pepper.
Very elegant and very flavorful, it is very difficult to find any flaws with this wine. If anything, we only wish that the bottles were larger!
We offer you today’s wine with our boldest recommendation - but be warned, quantity of this incredible wine is limited and we will run out before midnight.
