Mission Codename Zin x Zin x Zin
We’re thrilled to welcome D-Cubed Cellars back to our pages. Their wines are always very popular with our Operatives but because they are produced in relatively small quantities, the winery doesn’t always have any for anyone but its own customers. Fortunately, our Agent Red is not beneath begging. Today’s his begging pays off for you.
Today’s D-Cubed Cellars 2010 Korte Ranch Zinfandel adds up to a whole lot more than the sum of its parts. In fact, this wine has a multiplying effect - on your joy. You’ll find yourself marveling at the incredible nose and swooning over the juicy, balanced and delicious palate. This is one impressive wine.
With a nose to die for, this wine exudes some of the best smells we’ve experienced in a Napa Valley Zinfandel. In the lead, rich blackberry and plum jam. These are followed by black cherry, dried mushroom, sweet and savory spice, black currant, cigar box and black pepper.
On the palate this wine is juicy and bold, with black cherry, blackberry, red currant, pomegranate, spice box, cedar, cocoa dust, bramble, dried fall leaves and, of course, black pepper.
Enjoy this fantastic, food-friendly, delicious, juicy and awesome wine… with our fullest recommendation.
