Mission Codename Like Orson Welles said...
When Rustridge told us that they were down to the final cases of their stupendous Rustridge 2010 Estate Chardonnay, Agent Red rushed to pick up every last case that he could. Which wasn’t very much, as this popular wine is nearly sold out at the winery - and everywhere else.
Thank you, Rustridge, for letting us grab up every last case.
Don’t let the vintage fool you, this wine is the current vintage at the winery, which I really admire. Most wineries release their wines because of cash flow considerations. RustRidge releases their wines when they are ready.
Bold and heady with notes of caramel, hazelnut, lemon, orange blossom, vanilla, toasty oak, dried orange peel, and sweet but subtle white spice.
Soft on entry, then flavors quickly accelerate onto the palate, with bold Meyer lemon, toasted vanilla, lime leaf, toasted oak, melon, yellow peach and creamed honey.
The Napa Valley may be best known for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignons, but this gem from St. Helena is not to be missed.
Quantity is very limited, so please be sure to visit soooooooon.
Remember, we offer FREE Temperature-Controlled shipping during the hot summer months. Add optional ice packs if your local area is hot, and your wine will arrive in great condition!
