We have another exclusive wine for you today. Not even the winery itself has this fabulous wine…
Clos du Bois is back after a short hiatus. Today’s Clos du Bois 2012 Sonoma Reserve Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, juicy, bold wine that delivers a drinking experience that exceeds its selling price.
This Super QPR (Quality to Price Ratio) wine is an impressive must-have for any fan of great, Napa-rivaling Alexander Valley Cabernet. This very food-friendly wine is packed with flavor. A plush and elegant mouthfeel gives this wine a velvety appeal on the palate. This Cab is very aromatic, encouraging long inhalations that enliven your senses.
On the nose, smoky black cherry, cassis, plum, blackberry and braised fig lead the way. As the wine opens, it unveils spice box, cedar, tobacco, black pepper and blackberry candy.
On the palate, spiced cherry, blackberry, cassis, plum and black licorice are followed by cigar box, dusty bramble, tobacco leaf, leather and mixed spice.
Enjoy!
