Mission Codename Optima Prime
Optima is back! And better than ever… Today’s Optima Wine Cellars 2012 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is a bold, juicy and elegant wine that our entire tasting panel is raving about. It delivers a high-dollar drinking experience, for less than $22. This great wine is a steal.
Agent Red has been stalking this winery for the last three years, waiting in the shadows until they were set to release a new wine. That new wine is today’s fabulous Zin - and when Agent Red got word that it was about to be released, he swooped in and grabbed up some wine for our Operatives.
We all adore this very aromatic wine whose nose bursts forth with bold black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, spice cherry, mocha, bramble, plum and black pepper.
On the palate, the wine is juicy and full, with blackberry, raspberry, Alpine strawberry, spiced cherry candy, bramble, spice box, cedar, toasty oak, espresso bean and cracked pepper.
Be sure to order soon, as this wine is predicted to sell out.
