Mission Codename Ty me a river
Today’s Ty Caton Vineyards 2013 Moon Mountain Petite Sirah is a rich, delicious, flavor-packed wine that hits all the right notes. From the darkly fragrant nose, to the concentrated fruits that coat the palate, this wine was built to impress fans of the varietal.
Exceptionally fragrant, with Blackberry jam, black currant, black cherry, mixed berry pie, sweet spice, black plum, roasted mission fig, dusty bramble, slate mineral, spice box, dark chocolate and flint.
On the palate, this wine is bold and packed with the darkest fruit flavors, including mixed berry compote, spice box, cedar, grilled plum, grilled fig, smoky black cherry, flinty mineral, dusty bramble, cocoa powder and a hint of white pepper.
If you love big wines, this baby will have you doing cartwheels. This is a big, bold, badass wine that strikes a great balance between fruit-driven and earthy, giving the wine really broad appeal.
Enjoy with your heartiest holiday foods!
