This wine is a creamy, buttery, smoothly delicious Chardonnay from a tiny producer in California’s Burgundy country, the Alexander Valley. If you are looking for a velvety Chardonnay that won’t break the bank, you’ve found a great one here.
On the nose, this wine shows a beautiful melange of Lemon, lime flower, butterscotch, pineapple, lime zest, white peach and a hint of slate.
The palate is creamy and smooth, delivering delicious Meyer lemon, white peach, nectarine, apricot, lime leaf, pineapple and subtle white pepper all across the mouth.
Stock up, Operative! This is a fantastic fall wine that pairs easily and elegantly with a variety of foods. Be sure to keep some on hand for your holiday table.
Light golden yellow with perfect clarity. When swirled the wine settles quickly, leaving behind short, chubby tears that start low on the glass wall before moving slowly downward.
Lemon, lime flower, butterscotch, pineapple, lime zest, white peach and a hint of slate.
Meyer lemon, white peach, nectarine, apricot, lime leaf, pineapple and subtle white pepper all across the mouth.
Very long and smooth with balanced sweet and tart fruit that very slowly tails off. At the very end, a slight hint of delightful white pepper presents at the edges of the palate.
