Mission Briefing
Francly my dear...
Today’s 2010 Sonoma Valley Cabernet Franc Reserve is a real score - from our all-time best-selling winery, Deerfield Ranch Winery.
Deerfield loves us so much that they gave us special access to this wine, which is only available at the winery itself - and right here at The Wine Spies! Grab some soon, as quantity is limited.
Aromas leap from the glass, with bold black cherry, milk chocolate, black currant, Mission fig, raisin, toasty oak, cracked earth and flinty mineral.
On the palate, experience bright and juicy bold cherry juice, dried cranberry, Bing cherry, pomegranate, Acerola cherry, dried fall leaves, subtle spice and baker’s chocolate.
If you have not had the pleasure of sampling a true Cabernet Franc, this is a truly wonderful opportunity.
Cabernet Franc is Agent Red’s favorite single varietal wine. The reason that we don’t feature very many is not for lack of opportunity. Agent Red is just really really picky!
