Mission Codename Pure Reason
Today’s Apriori Cellars 2014 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is an Ultra QPR winner! This is quite literally one of the finest Pinots that we’ve shown in months. If you don’t love this wine, we’ll buy it back from you - and drink it all ourselves. We love it! Be sure to buy soon, as we’ve been selling out lately.
Over the years, we have come to know and love Apriori’s parent label, Vice Versa, whose wines sell for around $175 a bottle - but the wines of Apriori are the true sleeper hits in this family. Today’s wine is well balanced, with fruit, earth and spice that all add up to an intriguing drinking experience.
We were blown away by the lush and lively nose on this wine. Aromas of Bing cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, alpine strawberry, cedar, violet, soft spice, subtle dried wild mushroom, and a hint of chocolate covered cherry leap from the glass. On the palate, this wine shines, with flavors of Raspberry, Bing cherry, Alpine strawberry, soft oak, berry bramble, red currant, hibiscus flower, subtle spice and a hint of black tea leaf.
Find out why Apriori Cellars is one of our best-loved wineries among our Operatives - and be sure to stock up. At today’s price, this wine is a steal!
