Mission Briefing
Oh, Deer!
As you likely know, Deerfield Ranch Winery holds the distinction of being our number one winery. Whenever we showcase a Deerfield wine, it outsells all others.
Today’s wine, from Engracia Wines in Kenwood California, is made from Deerfield’s estate Syrah grapes. This highly recommended Syrah is a rich, hearty, food friendly wine that has plenty of character.
Allow the wine to breathe and it reveals a great depth of aromas, including blackberry, Santa Rosa plum, cedar, cassis, black cherry, spice, licorice and black pepper.
Rich and concentrated, with bold flavors of black cherry juice, blackberry jam, smoky blueberry, cedar, soft mixed spice, black licorice, black pepper and black currant.
Please make your purchase soon as today’s allocation is but a modest one. This wine is very likely to sell out.
