Mission Codename 1000 names for Malbec
Welcome to another Super Spy Sunday. Each Sunday we showcase a high-end wine - at a really low price. Today’s wine is a full 50% off - and, while we have a sizable allocation, we do expect to sell out before the end of the day.
There may be over 1000 names for the Malbec grape, but we have just one for today’s Maroon Wines 2013 Reserve Single Vineyard Malbec: Delicious! Today’s Super Spy Sunday wine is a fruit-driven, elegant and very delicious wine that we offer to you at a steal of a price.
On the nose, this wine is incredibly fruity and full, with ripe blueberry, blackberry, raspberry and wild strawberry, with soft, sweet spice, sweetwood, violets and rose petals.
On the palate, rich and concentrated on the palate, with bold flavors of raspberry reduction, smoky blackberry candy, young strawberry, sweetwood, dried flower petals, black currant, spice box and a hint of white pepper.
We’re very lucky to have such a special relationship with Maroon. Our long-standing friendship with them has allowed Wine Spies special access - and special pricing - for our Operatives. Enjoy the benefits and stock up on this beauty, which is ready to drink now and good for the next 10+ years.
