Mission Codename Here comes the Sun Chase
Today’s Atlas Wine 2013 Agnitio Sun Chase Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a steal! A delicious, elegant steal.
This bright, fresh, aromatic Chardonnay was made by French winemaker Alexandre Remy. He’s the guy that winemakers consult with when they need help making their own wines. Alexandre has come to the rescue of many a wine brand throughout his career.
Alex’s company provides a full range of vineyard services for some of California’s most prestigious wineries. They count the likes of Twomey (Silver Oak), Pegasus, Babcock, Sojourn, Ponzi, Bethel Heights, Kanzler, Penner-Ashe and MacPhail among their clientele.
Without Alex and his company to farm and tend their vineyards, where would they be?
Today’s beautiful chardonnay has a really lovely nose, with Meyer lemon, pineapple, acacia petals, pineapple, white peach and dried apricot.
On the palate, this delicious, elegant wine is loaded with flavor. Fresh Granny Smith apple, nectarine, Meyer lemon, dried apricot, pineapple, soft white spice, vanilla and soft oak.
Today’s elegant and delicious wine is highly recommended…

** What the wine press has to say:**
92 points - Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast - “The inaugural vintage from the owners of Atlas Vineyard Management in Napa, which also farms vineyards in Oregon and California’s Central Coast, this is exquisite in candied popcorn aromas, with a seasoning of fennel. Soft and juicy, it remains fresh on the palate, finishing crisp and clean.”
