For today only - and only while it lasts - you’ll enjoy 50% off on this impressive and very highly recommended wine. This delightful wine is a steal that is sure to impress.

This hand-crafted, small batch, artisan wine from the skilled hands of Dr. James Scheller and longtime friend and winery partner Blake Griffin is lush, bold, incredibly delicious - and a real bargain! This talented winemaking duo source their grapes from some of the most prestigious vineyards in the Napa Valley, including Oakville, Stags Leap, and St Helena. - where today’s bright, juicy, food friendly wine was born.

Bold and redolent, with balanced aromas of Sweet black cherry, sweet mixed spice, plum preserve, blueberry jam, tobacco leaf, hard leather and subtle pepper.

Flavors burst onto the palate with Bing cherry, blueberry, raspberry, plum, mixed spice, cedar, bramble, cassis, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and subtle cracked pepper.

This delightful wine is sure to impress both you and your guests - now and for the next decade or more. Presuming that you can keep yours cellared for that long!

What the wine press has to say:

“The 2009 vintage was one of the best of its class in this AVA. Our cabernet is a shining example of the near-perfect 09 growing season. I use this term sparingly but this wine was a complete berry bomb comprised of blackberry, raspberry, boysenberry and a little stone fruit – peach flambé, apricot, and a touch of mission black fig. Floral notes of bay laurel and eucalyptus comprise an excellent harmony to back the rest of this monster.

Eucalyptus trees line this unique St. Helena vineyard sight and may explain the distinctive nose of a touch of eucalyptus. While the fruit shines through this wine, minerality of crushed rock and wet granite are subtly present on the nose.

The palate of this wine is certainly dominated by anise, molasses, prune, dried date, and extracted rich flavors. The wine finishes with dried dark fruits, extracted flavors, supple tannins and a touch of sandalwood and fresh pipe tobacco.

The finish is delicately settled with subtle notes of anise, black pepper, and exciting bursts of fresh flowers blooming on a summer day. The wine is certainly full bodied but it boasts a feistiness and femininity that make it truly special. Drink now through 2020.” - Hoby Wedler
