Bold and very full on the nose, with Bing cherry, smoky cranberry, wild strawberry, twigs, cedar, dried rose petals, blackberry jam and subtle mixed spice.

Deux Chevaux Vineyard, where today’s wine was born, is a 60-acre parcel situated north-east of the town of Yountville, in the Yountville Appellation. The vineyard is bordered by two waterways; Conn Creek runs the length of the eastern border of the vineyard and the Napa River runs along the western corner.
Planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Malbec, this vineyard is influenced to a great degree by the San Francisco Bay and the early morning fog and late afternoon winds that it generates.
Tamber Bey Vineyards currently produces eight wines from this vineyard, including today’s very highly recommended Tamber Bey 2011 Rabicano Red Wine.
