Mission Codename First Class
Welcome to another Super Spy Sunday. Each Sunday we strive to bring you a fully vetted, carefully curated wine - at a really fantastic price.
Today’s SSS wine is the incredibly delicious (I mean it!) Phipps Family Cellars 2011 Treborce Vineyard Zinfandel. I can’t tell you just how juicy, fruity and delicious this wine is. You simply must taste it for yourself.
Immediately on opening, experience an aromatic explosion of blackberry, spiced cherry jam, plum jam, sweet spice, sweet wood, dark chocolate and black pepper.
On the palate, the wine is opulent and very juicy, with bold, rich flavors of blackberry, black cherry, plum candy, strawberry compote, spice box, sweet cedar, subtle slate and cracked pepper.
When we assembled our recent tasting panel (we carefully scrutinize every wine that we showcase) to taste today’s Phipps Family Cellars 2011 Treborce Vineyard Zinfandel, the entire panel was floored.
This wine is so good that our panelists clamored for cases for themselves.
You get first shot at this VERY highly recommended wine, Operative! Just hurry…
