Mission Codename The Sweet Oaks
Today’s Doce Robles 2010 Estate Reserve Zinfandel is a truly fantastic wine - at one steal of a price.
Last month, we featured a Cabernet from Doce Robles. That wine created such a sensation that Agent Red was quick to unveil another delicious gem from this hidden gem winery.
Grab yours - before we sell out…
On the nose, fresh wild raspberry, bramble bush, blackberry, cassis, wild strawberry, subtle tobacco leaf, sweet spice, and toasty oak.
Juicy and delicious on the palate, with blackberry juice, black cherry, dusty bramble, cocoa powder, subtle spice and subtle oak.
The small-production Doce Robles Winery is the very first winery to have appeared on the now winery-heavy Highway 46. Doce Roles’ neighbors include the likes of Peachy Canyon, Sextant and Castoro Cellars… to name just a few.
Doce Robles planted their vineyards in 1996, to Barbera, Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Primitivo, Petite Sirah and Malbec were also planted in 2010 and 2012.
