Chocolate Facotry
Today’s Grand Napa Wine 2012 Master Red has our Agent Red so excited that he bought up every bottle that he could get his hands on. Don’t dally, though, a wine that is this good is certainly going to sell out.
By now you’ve come to know the wines of Grand Napa. Today marks the winery’s 7th appearance on our pages in under a year. Always, their wines are very popular and we field plenty of Operative requests for more.
Well, today your requests are answered with what could be the best Grand Napa wine we’ve tasted to date.
This wine explodes with chocolate covered cherries! This wonderful aroma is followed, followed by more chocolate and more cherry. Also strawberry, red currant, blackberry jam, subtle spice and, you guessed it, more chocolate!
On the palate, this wine bursts forth with bold, juicy black cherry and blackberry, with briar, braised plum, baker’s chocolate, spice box, subtle tobacco and a hint of white pepper.
The Cab and Cab Franc provide the perfect balance, with the Franc giving the wine a juicy brightness that makes the wine a food-pairing champion.
Please enjoy this wine, which Agent Red awarded a stellar 95 points, with our boldest recommendation.
