Today’s incredibly delicious and lusciously elegant wine is the LaZarre Wines 2012 Central Coast Pinot Noir. This wine is fresh, bright and juicy - up front, but then shows balance and complexity as it settles onto the palate.

Agent Red became fast friends with Adam LaZarre back in 2007, when he headed up winemaking for Hahn Estates. They stayed friends and visited with each other through the years, but Adam never seemed to have enough of his limited-production wines to satisfy the needs of our Operatives.
It took some begging, but Agent Red convinced Adam to part with a handful of cases for today’s sale.
Brilliant, balanced aromas waft from the glass, with Bing cherry, pie spice, earth, cranberry, cedar, bramble, young blackberry, subtle oak and a hint of white pepper.
Flavors burst onto the palate with juicy black cherry, Bing cherry, young blackberry, young wild strawberry, cranberry, pie spice, cedar and toasty oak.
