Welcome to our latest Super Spy Sunday. Today’s selection is the delectable and incredibly food-friendly Doce Robles 2010 Winery Estate Barbera.
On the nose, this wine is very aromatic, with lively notes of blackberry butterscotch, strawberry jam, briar patch, sweet tobacco, cocoa and a hint of baking spice.
Incredibly soft and supple on entry, with a rush of juicy flavors, including Bing cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, and cassis up front, followed by toasty oak, grilled plum, briar patch, oak and baker’s chocolate.
This wine is juicy, packed with flavor and oh, so very delicious. We’re pleased to offer it to you at this very special price - and with our heartiest recommendation.
Stock up, and keep plenty on hand. This is a fantastic weeknight wine that pairs easily with many foods. Especially Italian cuisine.
