Mission Codename King of Coombsville
The 2012 vintage is the new it vintage, and today’s wine is an impressive example from this fantastic year.
This is classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with bold aromas of smoky cherry, black cherry candy, plum, blackberry, sweet tobacco leaf, black licorice, spice, pepper, sweet black licorice, toasty oak, vanilla and baker’s chocolate.
Rich and full on the palate, with dense flavors of smoked cherry, blackberry preserve, grilled plum, India black tea, tobacco leaf, licorice, soft spice, cigar box and a hint of fine pepper.
