From Lapostolle Vineyards, in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, today’s 2012 Cuvee Alexandre Syrah is a delicious, richly layered, limited-production wine that’ll send you over the moon. This budget-priced wonder has deep and concentrated flavors, while exhibiting truly wonderful balance.
Very limited, highly recommended.
Dense and rich on the nose, with dark fruit of blackberry, black cherry, grilled plum, dark oak, black licorice, black tea, braised fig, grilled meat, mixed dark spice and black pepper.
Bold, dense flavors pour onto the palate, with black cherry juice, blackberry preserve, blueberry reduction, dried black tea leaf, sweet tobacco leaf, cedar bark, black licorice, dried fall leaves, baker’s chocolate, and a hint of molasses.
Please note: We purchased every bottle that we could get our hands on for you, but don’t expect this wine to be around for very long. Once we’ve sold out, you may never see this wine again.
Please accept our fullest recommendation for this wonderful, conversation-worthy wine. Hurry, though. Quantity is very limited.

Here’s what the wine press has to say:
Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast - “An exotic collection of olive, rubber, blackberry, blueberry and cardamom aromas stirs interest. The palate is at first high in tartaric acid but later reveals itself to be loamy and chunky. Baked flavors of blackberry and earth finish short, salty and blocky, with a reverberation of pointed acidity.”
Remember, we offer FREE Temperature-Controlled shipping during the hot summer months. Add optional ice packs if your local area is hot, and your wine will arrive in great condition!
