We love Andy Phipps; wines, particularly his Zins. One sip of today’s wine was enough for our tasting panel to enthusiastically approve - and recommend - this great wine.

Today’s very highly recommended wine is juicy, balanced and downright impressive. At today’s special price, this wine is a Ultra QPR delight that you may wish to stock up on.

This wine drinks beautifully now, and we’re all excited to see how it progresses over the next couple of years. The 2012 vintage was a great one for California, and this Zin is a great showpiece for the concentration and quality of the fruit from this decades-best year.

Lively and lush, with layered aromas of black currant, blackberry, black cherry and raspberry, folded into woodsy notes of cherry bark, dried fall leaves, dark spice and oak.

Dark and juicy, with black cherry cocktail, blackberry jam, grilled plum, dusty bramble, dark chocolate, tobacco, spice box and toasty oak.

Decant for best results. Drink now through 2019.
