We fell in love at first inhalation. When we sipped the wine, it was all over for us… We snapped up every case that we could get our hands on.

I am thrilled to welcome Clos Pegase Winery back to our pages. Their 2013 Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is the first wine we’ve featured from this remarkable winery in almost two years… but it surely won’t be the last.

Their wines are truly exceptional.

Deeply fragrant, with a rush of fruit, spice, and earth, all in perfect balance, with black cherry, blackberry jam, smoky cherry bark, spice box, leather, licorice, cassis, red currant, cranberry and cigar box.

Wonderfully balanced on the palate as well, with smoky black cherry, blackberry juice, spice box, pencil shavings, black licorice, red currant, cassis, sweet tobacco leaf, mixed spice and a hint of cracked pepper.
