Mission Codename Eternal
A few years back, we featured a non-vintage wine from Flora Springs. That wine became one of our best-selling wines we had sold to date.
We’re proud to tell you that Flora Springs has returned, and they’ve returned big.
Today’s Flora Springs 2013 Napa Valley Red Wine is a bold, fruit-filled treat that our entire tasting panel went crazy for. This wine is pure Napa, with nose and mouthfuls of dark, boastful fruit, elegant earth and exciting spice. All of that is transported elegantly across the palate and ending with a plushness that gives the wine a high-dollar feel.
After an explosion of blackberry, cranberry, raspberry and blueberry, the nose is filled out by spiced cherry, chocolate covered cherry, red licorice, bramble, plum and sweet tobacco. A rush of dark flavors pours onto the palate, with blackberry compote, blueberry reduction, wild strawberry, black cherry, sweet tobacco, black licorice, bramble bush, Santa Rosa plum, black pepper and spice box.
90 points (Wilfred Wong) and Very highly recommended (Agent Red) 😎

Here’s what the wine press has to say:
90 points - Wilfred Wong, June 30, 2016 - “Red wine blends can be some of the most confusing wines on the planet. When I tasted the 2013 Flora Springs Red Wine, I was lost at first. I knew that the winery grew plenty of Bordeaux varieties, but in the final analysis, it didn’t really matter. What matters is: does the wine taste good?
This one does! The wine’s red fruit and light mineral touch have sold me on its quality: this is good stuff. Drinking well now.”
