Mission Codename A Riesling for Everything
Today’s Kendall Jackson 2014 Vintner’s Reserve Riesling really took me by surprise! We don’t often have the opportunity to taste many excellent Rieslings here in America. Most of the best ones are German-born.
From the initial pour, we quickly realized that today’s unique white has everything that you hope for in a Riesling: a beautiful light straw in the glass and that delightful acidic pop, delicately nuanced flavors and a very refreshing overall appeal.
This wine is refreshing and bright, one of the best American Rieslings we’ve tasted. It is both super food friendly and eminently enjoyable by itself.
Please hurry, as this crowd-pleasing refresher is only available in limited quantity.

Here’s what the wine press has to say:
Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast - “Mildly sweet and soft-textured, it offers lots of honey and apple flavors. These are backed up by crisp, citrus-like acidity that adds balance and keeps the flavors lively all the way through the finish. It’s very tasty and well-rounded.”
