Mission Briefing
W3... 2... 1... gone
Celebrate with us, dear Operative! Today marks the long-awaited return of W3, aka William White Wines.
Today’s W3 2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the best wine that we’ve ever tasted from this Wine Spies favorite winery.
This is classic Napa Valley Cabernet, from one of the best vintages on record. Wine Spectator Magazine awarded the Napa Cab vintage a full 96 points in 2012.
Rich and ripe on the nose, with candied cherry, plum, blueberry, blackberry, sweet spice, tobacco, chocolate, earth and a hint of cracked pepper.
On the palate, bold blackberry, blueberry and plum take the lead. Then, baker’s chocolate, sweet tobacco leaf, dark spice, oak, and cracked pepper follow on.
This wine is expected to sell out. You’ve been warned! ;-)
