Mission Briefing
Heads, you win!
One of our favorite local boutique wineries, Munselle, is back! With another single vineyard delight from the pristine Alexander Valley.
Today’s Munselle Vineyards 2013 Coin Flip Ranch Alexander Valley Chardonnay is a crisp, refreshing wine that our recent tasting panel all went bonkers for. We all agreed that this was one of the best Alexander Valley Chardonnays that any of us had ever tasted.
Fresh and fragrant on the nose, with lemon custard, lemon curd, dried white flower petals, toasted hazelnut, lemongrass, Meyer lemon zest and very subtle white spice.
Delicious flavors cascade across the palate, with lemon zest, lemon candy, guava, lychee, toasty oak, subtle white spice and lemon liquor.
The Munselle family possesses a remarkable pedigree and great winemaking skills. Their pristine, historic Coin Flip Vineyard in the Alexander Valley is planted to noble Robert Young rootstock. This combination produces very distinctive - and very intriguing - Chardonnay.
If you love great Chardonnay - and great deals - please accept this very highly recommended Munselle gem.
