Mission Codename Like a banana
Today’s Arrowood 2013 Sonoma County Proprietary Red is a serious wine… and we’re the only wine merchant to have it. You can’t even buy this wine from the winery itself! How do we do it? We could tell you, but, you know…
First and foremost, to really, truly experience what this wine has to offer, open it up and let it breathe. We’ve had a lot of Cabernet Blends in our day, but this one actually made us stop and re-think what was possible for Sonoma wines. It is luscious and firm and savory all at the same time. This wine announced to us a changing of the guard in California winemaking.
This is the big wine drinkers wine, with plenty of character and boldness. It has enough fruit to appease the palette that seeks out a big flavor profile, but it is also spicy and full to satisfy darker desires as well. This can be enjoyed on its own or with a variety of foods.
We can’t recommend today’s outstanding Cab any more highly and, at a stunning 43% off, I can think of quite a few Agents who can’t wait to take advantage of this deal!
