Mission Codename The Art of Intelligence
Earlier this year, we featured a 2011 Cab from our friends at Viluko Vineyards. That wine set a record - for the best-selling 2011 Cabernet we’ve ever shown.
Today’s 2012 Split Rock Cabernet Sauvignon is even better. It hails from the 2012 vintage, which Robert Parker awarded a stunning score of 96E. That E is for extraordinary.
This wine is woodsy on the nose, where dark fruit notes abound in this heady blend. Bold black cherry, blackberry, plum and cassis take the lead, with tobacco, toasted cedar, graphite, black pepper and subtle savory herbs.
Bold flavors spill onto the palate, with smoky black cherry, cassis, plum, dark oak, coffee bean, baker’s chocolate, spice box and a hint of cherry tobacco.
Enjoy… but be quick. Our allocation is modest - and this wine will likely sell out before midnight (Pacific time)!
