Today’s Siduri 2014 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is our 2016 Wine Spies Intrigue Award winner for Best Pinot Noir and truly an elegant delight with balanced aromatics, mouthfeel and flavors, presenting the best mix of Burgundy and California styled Pinot.
This balance makes the wine a sure pleaser for even the most ardent Pinot fan. The flavor profile makes it a delight to enjoy on its own, but its acidity lends it to easy food pairing.
Adam Lee sets a new standard for Russian River Pinot Noir! We are all the beneficiaries of Adam’s ruthless diligence in the vineyard and in the winery. Adam has been doing it for years in some of California and Oregon’s best vineyard sites and in the Russian River Valley he truly shines!!
This wine shows exceptional finesse and elegance with a distinct purity of fruit. Sweet, seductive aromas and flavors with a plush texture that makes this wine an excellent example of how great Russian River Valley Pinot Noir can be.
If you love great California Pinot Noir, this is your chance to purchase this exceptional example. With bright and juicy flavors, an evolving feel and great aromatics, this wine is sure to please.

Here’s what the wine press has to say:
90-91 points - Josh Raynolds, Vinous - “Saturated red. Lively, focused nose displays spice-tinged aromas of raspberry and fresh flowers, with a mineral element adding vivacity. Smoky and gently sweet on the palate, offering nervy red and dark berry flavors that open slowly with air. Shows very good vivacity on the finish, along with easygoing tannins and an echo of floral pastilles.”

91 points - Nicholas Ponomareff, California Grapevine - “Medium-light ruby color; attractive, forward, fairly intense, fragrant, spicy, raspberry and black cherry fruit aroma with earthy notes and hints of clove, cardamom, and mocha.
Medium body; textured, cedary, black cherry fruit flavors with good depth and balance, and shows some richness in the mouthfeel. Medium tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very appealing to drink now, though also worthy of a few more years of bottle aging. Very highly recommended.”

90 points - James Laube, Wind Spectator - “Opens with a complex mix of dusty, savory berry, herb and fine earth flavors, sustaining presence throughout. Ends as it begins, with a measure of elegance and finesse.”
