Mission Codename Red Rocket
Welcome to the Wine Spies Intrigue Awards for 2016! Each year we recognize our most popular and most sought-after wines from the previous year - while giving our Operatives one final chance to secure some of the winning wines for themselves.
We may never show this wine again, so grab yours while you still can.
Today’s House of Cards 2012 Napa Valley Red Wine is our 2016 Wine Spies Intrigue Award winner for Best Buy Red Blend. You asked for more of this brilliant red blend - and we came through for you. This wine is so much fun that, at today’s newly lowered price, you’ll likely find yourself stocking up.
This delicious red blend is bold and balanced on the nose, with aromas of blackberry jam, blueberry pie, raspberry, spice box, plum, dried tobacco leaf, cocoa dust and cedar.
On the palate, this wine is balanced and concentrated, with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, brown spice, tobacco, baker’s chocolate, dried fall leaves and a hint of black pepper.
How many cases will you grab up?
Very highly recommended.
