Mission Briefing
The Passionate Monk
We’re thrilled to present to you a wonderful hidden gem Pinot Noir, from our new friends at Mersenne Prime Wines. Their 2014 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a silky, elegant and terrifically tasty wine that our whole tasting panel recently flipped over.
The winery declares aromas of rhubarb and stonefruit on the nose, and boy do we agree. Add to these, aromas of blueberry pie, vanilla, strawberry jam and very soft spice.
Flavors flow onto the palate, with tart cherry, young strawberry, blueberry cobbler, vanilla, soft leather, soft spice , red licorice, subtle black licorice and dark minerals.
We’re offering this one with a heartiest recommendation.
