Rich and delicious on the palate, with stewed cherry, raspberry, spiced young strawberry, mixed spice, lightly toasted oak, dried fall leaves, cocoa and sweet spice.
Windsor Oaks Vineyards grow grapes that go on to become fine wines, from a handful of prestigious producers. These include Flowers, Pax (now Donelan Family Wines), Sonoma Cutrer, Merry Edwards, the Rosenblum family’s new Rockwall Wines, Pali, Biltmore Estate, Wind Gap, Thomas George Estates, New Process Alliance, Brian Arden, Rosalynd Wines, Uptick, Kokomo, Ottimino, Monument Mountain Vineyards, Blanchard Family Wines, City Winery, Eric/Kent, Sojourn and Anthill Farms.
Windsor Oaks also produces a small handful of distinctive wines under their own label. These Windsor Oaks wines represent the best of the best, often at a fraction of the price of those other wines.
The Russian River Valley, in Sonoma County, produces Pinot Noir of remarkable distinction. The cooler maritime conditions of the region make the Russian River Valley ideal for growing Pinot Noir.
The Russian River Valley in Sonoma is particularly well suited to producing exceptional Pinot Noir. This AVA was officially designated in 1983, but many of the wines in the region used the designation as early as the 1970s (early in California’s wine history) with the many of the vines having been first planted in the early 1900s.

Dazzling, pure ruby red, from the slightly darker translucent core, out to the lighter red edges.
Bright cherry, dusty rose, strawberry, flint, wild mushroom, grilled plum, dried orange peel and soft, rustic spice.
Stewed cherry, raspberry, spiced young strawberry, mixed spice, lightly toasted oak, dried fall leaves, cocoa and sweet spice.
Ultra long, with fruit and spice flavors that hold onto the edges of the palate seemingly forever. As the flavors fade, a lush, plush dryness encroaches, reminding you to take another flavor filled sip.
We enjoyed ours with a homemade pizza with every possible topping, though this food-flexible wine can be paired with pasta dishes, grilled meats… or enjoyed all by its delicious self.
