Enjoy. You deserve the best!
For those that don’t know, Meteor Vineyard Cabs are some of the most exclusive and most sought-after wines of the Napa Valley. We’re blessed to be able to show you this exquisite wine - and offer it to you at such a fantastic price.
One could spend hours with one’s nose deep in the glass, deeply inhaling all of the wonders that this wine exudes. Wave upon wave of aromas waft out of the glass, led by spiced blackberry & blueberry jam, followed by black cherry, spice box, leather tobacco pouch, baker’s chocolate, cassis, flint, dark spice, graphite and, finally, cracked pepper.
One sip of this wine and its elegance and grandeur pour into your soul - along with some of the most incredible flavors. In the lead, bold blackberry & plum preserve with dark spice. This opulent beginning is followed closely by black cherry, cassis, leather, cigar box, dark chocolate, grilled plum, grilled mission fig, grilled meat, graphite and black pepper.
Internet pioneer and all around nice guy, Barry Schuler, the owner of Meteor Vineyard, started in 1998 with a simple goal: Make a world-leading Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon possible. And so he hired viticulturist Mike Wolf to plant the vineyard.
He also hired one of the best winemakers we know, Dawnine Dyer (Dawnine’s Dyer Wines are some of our best-selling). This dream team has gone on to make some of the finest wines that the Napa Valley can produce.

This 10-year-old wine is perfectly aged and ready to enjoy now. We expect that it hasn’t even reached its peak yet, so be sure to pick up a few extra bottles to hide in your cellar!

Here’s what the wine press has to say:
92 points - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate - “This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coombsville area of southern Napa exhibits an opaque purple color as well as an attractive bouquet of blue and black fruits intermixed with toasty oak, licorice, tobacco leaf, and underlying earthy notes.
Impressively concentrated, medium to full-bodied, pure, textured, and long, this 2006 is approachable now, and should continue to drink well for 15 years.”
