Today’s Straight Line Wines 2015 Lodi Zinfandel was made by Jon Grant, owner of Couloir Wines, worked in the cellars of many of Napa Valley’s top wineries, including Turley Wine Cellars, PlumpJack Winery, Corison Wines and Robert Mondavi Winery.

This guy knows how to make great high-end wines, so it is no wonder that even his more cost-conscious selections are also fantastic.

Really fragrant on the nose, with dusty red cherry, bramble, wild raspberry, blackberry, dried violet and subtle spice.

Classic Zinfandel flavors pour onto the palate, with bold black cherry, dusty bramble bush, wild raspberry, wild strawberry, dried red rose petals, subtle espresso bean, caramel and spice.

Today’s Zinfandel is a Classic California Zin, with plenty of jammy fruit and rich spice, on the nose and on the palate. This wine is a fantastic solo-sipper - and a fantastic companion for a wide array of pairing choices.

The Ultra QPR wine is very highly recommended. And very doggone delicious!
