Mission Briefing
Big Sister
Last year, Bellacana Chardonnay was our best-selling budget white of the year. Today, I am very happy to present to you a Chardonnay from Bellacana’s sister label, Mihila Kawna.
Today’s Mihila Kawna 2013 Alexander Valley Chardonnay was actually made from Chardonnay grapes from the Bellacana vineyard.
Guess what? This wine is even better!
This plump, fresh and wonderful wine was made by our old friend, Miro Tcholakov, who named himself Agent KGB. Miro’s Miro Cellars wines are all Reds, so it is a fantastic treat to try a Miro-made white wine.
All we can say is, Way to go, Miro!
Sensual and plump on the nose, with Meyer lemon, creamy vanilla custard, lemon curd, ripe yellow peach, lemongrass, super soft white spice and toasty oak.
On the palate, balanced and delicious, with flavors of Meyer lemon, lemongrass, apricot, yellow peach, lemon curd, lemon custard, softly toasted oak and vanilla.
With springtime right around the corner, we encourage you to pick up a case or two of this great wine. You’ll want plenty on hand for entertaining, solo-sipping, backyard BBQs and elegant soirees!
