Grab yours, before we run out.
Lively and fresh on the nose, with aromas of Bing cherry, cherry blossom, cherry bark, cedar, red currant, birch, cranberry and vanilla.
A silky smooth entry transports bright red fruit to the corners of the palate, with young raspberry, red currant, cranberry, sandalwood, Bing cherry, young strawberry, vanilla, briar patch, and subtle spice.
McEvoy’s winemaking team consists of the incredibly talented duo of Dr. Maurizio Castelli and Blake Yarger. Dr. Caselli is a pioneer who helped to create such renowned wines as Col d’Orcia’s Poggio al Vento Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Mastrojanni’s Brunello Schiena d’asino and Poderi Boscarelli’s Vino Nobile.
Castelli has more than 40 years of experience in winemaking and consulting all over the world, including at the famed Badia a Coltibuono in Tuscany. Blake Yarger has spent the last seven years at McEvoy, overseeing wine production there in collaboration with Dr. Castelli.
Gemlike ruby red, with a translucent core and glinting pink edges.
Bing cherry, cherry blossom, cherry bark, cedar, red currant, birch, cranberry and vanilla.
Young raspberry, red currant, cranberry, sandalwood, Bing cherry, young strawberry, vanilla, briar patch, and subtle spice.
This wine is velvet smooth on entry, and as the wine settles onto the palate, it takes on a more firm feel with crushed velvet tannins that give the wine more weight and a bit of chewiness.
Pair this dynamo with seared pork chops with grilled stonefruit (cherries, apricot & peach) and rosemary. Rub the chops with smoked paprika, coarsely ground coffee, salt and cracked pepper.
