One of our best-selling winemakers of all time is back! Mitch Cosentino made today’s masterful blend of 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Merlot.
Imagine, two of red wines most food-friendly varietals, made by one of winemaking’s most experienced and talented winemakers. The result is an out of this world blend.
If you are a fan of Mitch’s Reserve Cabernet Francs of the 80s and 90s, you’ll instantly recognize - and fall in love with - this truly exceptional wine.
Sweet and savory, with deep aromas of black cherry, red currant, black currant, red plum jam, dried cranberry, and spice.
Dark and rich on the palate, with blackberry compote, black cherry preserve, black currant, dried cranberry, mixed spice, flinty mineral, subtle spice and subtle cracked pepper.
Cabernet Franc and Merlot are known as two of the most food-friendly varietals there are and this wine really shines with food.
Very highly recommended!
