Mission Codename Apparent
If you are a fan of Syrahs that are as deep as the ocean and as rich as Bill Gates, then we know that you’ll love this dark, juicy, savory delight from our old friends at Liquid Sky.
This wine is dark and foreboding on the nose, with aromas of blackberry compote, graphite, smoked meats, plum, dark spice, dried red rose, hard leather, dark oak and black pepper.
Bold and delicious on the palate, with flavors of blackberry, cherry juice, pencil shavings, smoked beef, grilled plum, black raspberry, espresso bean, subtlest tar and mixed soft spice.
Timothy Milos, the incredibly talented former winemaker for Opus One and Stag’s Leap and Cliff Lede is the one responsible for this wine. It is bold, elegant, dense and delicious, an astonishingly well-made wine from a vineyard that sits high atop a hillside vineyard in the coveted Moon Mountain AVA.
The other wineries that Timothy makes wine for include, Rubissow Wines, Hidden Ridge Vineyard, Haber Family Vineyards, **Howell at the Moon, Bookmark, Korbin Kameron and Viluko. His experience is readily apparent in today’s very highly recommended wine.
Enjoy!
